Preventing Dental Emergencies

Preventing a dental emergency one of the best ways to avoid unforeseen dental emergencies. Booking an appointment at Oakridge Crossing Dental on a regular basis for a comprehensive dental exam helps us check for signs of weakened teeth, loosened or aging restorations and early the signs of infection that may suggest the presence of infection.

Patients who participate in sporting activities that could cause a dental emergency are encouraged, regardless of their age, to wear a custom mouth guard while playing contact sports. A large percentage of dental injuries are related to sports and wearing a custom mouth guard prevents many of these injuries from occurring.
